Premier League title holders, Chelsea, have already been in abysmal type this season. The Blues sit 16th in the tables and speculation of Mourinho’s timely departure grow each passing day. No one seems to have the answer at Stamford.

Full FIFA understands that Chelsea will again try to sign Everton defender John Stones in January. The Blues remain keen on bringing within the England international, after failing in their attempts to lure him to Stamford Bridge during the summer.

Their last bid for the twenty-one year old was inside the region of £37m, and with his current deal running until the end of the 2018/19 campaign, and his type this season so far doing nothing to harm his reputation it could take even more to tempt the Toffees to do business.

He won his sixth senior international cap (click here to buy fifa 16 coins) as Roy Hodgson’s men beat Switzerland 2-0 back in September and is bar any unforeseen circumstances almost certain to feature at next summer’s European Championships in France.

Chelsea is also considering a move to sign Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to the Mail Online. The proposed offer casts doubts over the future of current first-choice forward Diego Costa, who has scored three goals (click here to buy fifa 16 coins) in all competitions so far this season.

The Argentina international moved to Naples from Real Madrid within the summer of 2013, and has so far racked up one hundred and seventeen appearances for the club, scoring sixty-five goals. He was also a consistent goal-scorer in his six-and-a-half years in La Liga, where his strikes helped fire Real to three championships and a Copa Del Rey.

He has been capped 52 times for his country, scoring 25 goals and was part of (buy cheap Fifa coins) the Argentina squad that finished as runners-up in last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

Both players add no immediate threat to the current Chelsea squad and it brings great doubt about the club’s decision to pursue these players. Mourinho’s reigns at the Bridge are in doubt. How will they fit into an already stacked squad?

Will these moves prove worthwhile?
