The Crucial T700 stands out as one of the world's fastest SSDs, boasting impressive maximum sequential read and write speeds of 12,400 MB/s and 11,800 MB/s, respectively. Leveraging the cutting-edge PCIe 5.0 data standard, the T700 significantly outperforms older PCIe 4.0 drives like the Crucial P5 Plus. However, it falls short of fully harnessing the 15,700 MB/s bandwidth provided by PCIe 5.0 for devices using four PCIe lanes, such as NVMe SSDs for PCs.
