Director of games Joe Shely explains

In the words of Insider Gaming, "this is still the case with over 100 journalists receiving the chance to Diablo IV Gold attend the behind-the-scenes show as well as having an opportunity to interact playing the game. It is believed that the embargo for the game and hands-on demonstrations will lift on December 7.

"During the show, Rod Fergusson invited all of the presenters to catch The Game Awards as they'll be [making] some announcements."

Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely be waiting until post-launch to utilize them in game.

Director of games Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable interview that the reimagining of sets in a way that is compatible with Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be possible until the beginning of next year, but the team is thinking of including them as part of Live service.

"As we've been building the game, we thought that we could create sets in a completely new style that's similar to what we've experienced within Diablo 3. We needed more time before we could get them into the game an approach that works well with the rest of Diablo 4, so you will not see any sets until the launch within the game." Shely explains. "We consider sets to be very cool and want to be sure that they're done right, which is why we're taking a look into for the live services we're planning to offer."

"There's a legendary staff in the demo which turns the spell's fireball spell into triple fireball," the former director of games Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in 2019. "The difference might be that, as you can imagine the set you have in the live version of Diablo 3 gives you bonuses up to a few thousand. I think we're designing the game to be a little less constrained in order to avoid entering that expanding Power Curve."

If you're unfamiliar about Set Items are in essence strong devices that give higher power when put together. They're "set" as they are always able to provide the same benefits, and also they are part of a set. They first appeared within Diablo 2, though it was with Diablo 3 that they became truly dominant. It is yet to be determined what impact they'll have on what happens to the Diablo 4 meta should they appear, but there's no doubt their influence on cheap Diablo IV Gold the Sanctuary's unfurling fashion scene will be greatly felt.
