Fun activities you can do with your children

Right now, with all the tension and confusion in the world, take this as a chance to be with your family. Do not worry about making any behaviour comply with the exposure of your child to the curriculum. Kids are very tiny sponges, learning from their environment. They are going to take something away from every game you play, and from every story, you hear.

Board Games
In your home, dig out every board game and get the entire family around the table. Do not think about it if you do not have any child-friendly board games at home.

Hide and Seek
A simple game with no resources which can be fun. You may see your kids and friends playing this all the time, but now it is your turn to be part of the fun. Let us know who can hide better!

Family Karaoke
With this choice, get ready to hear 'Let it Go' a dozen times in a row. You can find YouTube videos of any song imaginable with karaoke versions. Sing some of your songs, a favourite of your kids, and make it a night.

Card Games
Take out a deck of cards if you do not have any board games on hand. You can take them everywhere, and they can be cleaned up quickly. Goldfish is a reasonable choice or, if you feel patient, you can let your child make up the rules!

Cook Together
It has a little curriculum in it for this one. While cooking, there are so many possibilities for practical life activities. Only to name a few, stirring, peeling, and chopping. It could make your kitchen dirty, but kids love being able to help. Younger kids can bring out their baby kitchen set to be part of the play.

Puzzles
Depending on their ability to concentrate, doing puzzles with kids can be challenging, but working on anything as a team is a great bonding experience. If you have no child-friendly puzzles at home, then you can find and work on some digital choices.

Build a Fort
This one is messy, but it's worth it. Take some sheets, baby cushion and blankets out and set up a little fort that is just large enough to lay down for you and your kids. You can cuddle inside it to read together, watch a film on a laptop or take it down if it is fun enough to create it!

Watch a Movie Together
Do not just sit on the sofa and make it an experience and throw the movie on. Make some popcorn, dim the lights, get some blankets, and hot chocolate. You can also print some fake tickets and money out and make them buy from you the movie pass!

Simon Says
It can be a blast for your children to play with. Make sure you let them take over as 'Simon,' otherwise you will do some crazy stuff for sure.
