How to Reset Apple Watch

It may be helpful to reinstall the Apple Watch if something goes wrong or if you give it to a new owner. Fortunately, the process is not as scary as it sounds. You can reset your Apple Watch to see if your iPhone is present, although you may want to take some precautions first. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to reset your Apple Watch.

Before Reset the Apple Watch
Backing up your Apple Watch is easy, so don't worry about losing your fitness data, app layout, and basics. When you turn off your watch, the content is automatically backed up to your paired iPhone. As long as you've been close to your phone recently, you can reset your clock data - basically, continue where you left off.

Unpair and Reset your Apple Watch
If your iPhone is available, you can "shut down" and "reset" your Apple Watch with a simple process.
1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Go to the "My Watch" tab. Tap on your watch.
3. On the next screen, tap on the information ("I") button next to the clock.
4. Click "Secure Apple Watch".
5. If you have a mobile data model, you will be asked if you want to have your own mobile app. If you are uninstalling the app, you may also need to contact your operator to cancel the service.
6. Click once to confirm. You may need to enter your Apple ID to turn off the activation lock.
7. If you need to install Apple Watch, the Start Pairing screen will appear

Soft Reset Apple Watch with hardware keys
Since the watch has an internal battery that cannot be removed, a soft reset is a battery-like removal. When the screen is frozen or unresponsive, use a soft reset to turn the device off. This does not cause any loss of personal data on the device.
To restart your Apple Watch, hold down at least 10 seconds and Hold down both the side buttons and the digital crown, then open the two buttons when you see the Apple logo.

Note: Restoring your Apple Watch to factory settings will erase everything on it, however, if you have one, you can restore it from a backup. In addition, it is very possible that an activation lock is enabled on your watch. You have to turn off the "Activation Lock", you will have to remember your Apple ID password.
