It might just be the season opener

The Chiefs have been the favorites for Smith since trade talk began. The Arizona Cardinals were reportedly interested in the quarterback out of Utah, but the 49ers didn't want to trade him to a division rival. Matt Barrows of MUT 24 Coins the Sacramento Bee reported Wednesday that the compensation for Smith could be a high fourth-round pick in this year's Madden NFL 24 Draft. But Barrows noted that "the question now is whether another team comes forward with a better offer."

The 2011 Madden NFL 24 season is almost here which means it's time to preview every team's chances this year. Madden 24's Daily Norseman gives us the scoop on the Minnesota Vikings. There's no Favre drama this year, and I highly doubt that the Vikings will lead the Madden NFL 24 in interceptions again in 2011 like they did in 2010. Also, one would imagine that the odds of the Metrodome roof collapsing again and causing the Vikings to play two home games on the road are relatively small. The Vikings still have plenty of talent on their roster, and with a new offense that will focus more on a power rushing attack and less zone blocking for the offensive line, the Vikings are certainly a team that could sneak under the radar for most of the season.

It might just be the season opener against the San Diego Chargers buy Madden NFL 24 Coins. The Chargers, despite the stumbles they had in 2010, are still one of the most talented teams in the AFC, and they will be a good test for a Vikings' defense that should remain good up front, but has some questions remaining in the secondary. Of course, it will be hard for these two teams to top the fireworks that took place the last time they got together back in 2007. In that game, two Madden NFL 24 records were set. . .Antonio Cromartie's 109-yard return of a missed Ryan Longwell field goal set the record for longest play in Madden NFL 24 history, and Adrian Peterson broke the single-game rushing record with 296 yards.
