The Patriots haven't had a win in a playoff game in almost four years which, for New England, seems like the length of time. The Patriots are clearly an elite team -with 13 wins Mut 23 Coins, one of the most talented quarterbacks of all time and the third. 3 ranked offense. They're doing a lot of things right, and there aren't many teams (lookin to you Denver) capable of being able to be competitive offensively. But the defense is an issue.
There's nothing to worry about as you may think from what they're telling you in New England about the number of yards the Patriots defense allows -the defense is 15th in scoring and is the most important statistic, but they're going to need to show that their defense can rise to the occasion when the offensive gets into these defenses, like the Broncos, Ravens or Texans.
The NFC's No. 2 seed is right below us at No. 5 in our Madden NFL 23 playoffs power ranking. That seems low. Take a look at the teams ahead of them, and then figure out who is likely to drop. Ravens? Patriots? Perhaps, but these teams have played in playoffs before.
They've been through it before and they're aware of what playoffs are all about. I'm not knocking the 49ers but they're still a mystery right now. They could be dominant over all of the Saints over the weekend. They could prove us all wrong, but until they prove to me that they can compete at the level they are, I'll remain a bit lower than some of the other teams.
I'm a huge admirer of the way the Giants are doing at the moment. The way they're doing it is similar to the time four years ago, when the Giants went on a playoff and took home their first Super Bowl Madden 23 Coins Cheap. They're a veteran group. Its defensive line strong and will make life difficult for quarterbacks who are in opposition.
