Elyon continues preparing for the forthcoming server merges that will be happening for the game. Today's update brings some minor tweaks, and ends the Lunar New Year and Snowman's Wish events, and is Elyon Gold otherwise mostly a cleaning and preparation patch.
Elyon's upcoming server merges will happen soon and once that's completed, both regions will have one server for each. The ongoing process where players have to make sure that they are ready to merge servers is on now. Players who have bought extra characters or have more than 7 characters on their server need to decide which characters they want to erase.
The patch this week was the end of two events, The Lunar New Year event and the Snowman's Wish event and removed the Blessed Laurel Wreath as an exchange item. Realm War Merchants have been eliminated, which continues the merging of access as well as changing what was more focus on Realm War but is now a series of RvR events as well as new content.
In terms of server merges the team has designed it so that you will no longer be able to move into luxury houses or pay taxes on these properties until the server merger has happened. If you have already paid taxes and fees at the time of moving in, they will be consumed as regular but you will not be able to move in or pay taxes now.. The luxury homes will be reset following the merge and this is only one of many preparations which will continue to occur until the merges take place.
