PlayStation Productions released its first project earlier in the year

Each PlayStation Movie and TV Show currently being developed by DevelopmentSony. Sony is creating an abundance of PlayStation-related movies in addition to TV shows. Over the last few several years Sony continues to D2R Ladder Items rev up its newly formed PlayStation Productions. The production firm is currently working on at minimum 7 known projects, several of which are well-beyond the early stages of being an idea that was sketched on a whiteboard.

Certain of these have been shot, others are currently preparing to shoot and others are working on scripting You get the picture. Of course, PlayStation is committed to this project and that's not something that could be said of a bunch of other studios attempting to bring video games into their own.

PlayStation Productions released its first project earlier in the year in the form of that long-awaited Uncharted. This film version of Naughty Dog's cult game has been in the works for over a decade, exchanging hands with numerous directors or writers, as well as actors.

The film's final version ended in the hands of Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film wasn't a huge hit with critics, it brought in some decent dollars at the box office and is a good prelude to the possibility of a sequel. It's likely that more live action Nathan Drake adventures are on in the near future. A future Uncharted sequel is far from the only thing Sony is working on however.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat will likely be the next offering coming from PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog-inspired adaptation Buy D2R Items. HBO is currently adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.
