"We could not keep it on the album," he said. "But maybe I'll sneak it into it into Twitterverse... the singer did a World of Warcraft -medievally version of his single and it's absolutely brilliant WoW WoTLK Classic Gold. However, I'm the only person to think that it was funny."
Jones also confirmed on Twitter that the "troll hunt" scene was cut from the film version.
"Was too expensive to do, and not directly enough connected to the plot, so we scrapped it earlier," he said.
On whether it will be ever an extended cut of World of Warcraft that contains these scenes (and other things Jones hasn't yet discussed) the director has said it will depend on the way World of Warcraft does at the box office.
"There is no longer cut unless the theater does well," the actor said on his Twitter. "That is the normal way is the way things work."
The theatrical version's duration is roughly two hours. There was 40 minutes worth of footage cut and may be included in a more extended version, Jones stated.
World of Warcraft opened in international markets this week, earning $31.6 million as per Deadline. Its US film is scheduled to be released on June 10 however the movie is not likely to make it to the top of the chart buy WoTLK Gold . The budget for the film is set around $160 million.
