Understanding Invar 36 Round Bar: Properties and Applications

Invar 36 round bars are composed of nickel and iron, with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of around 1.3 x 10^-6 per degree Celsius. This low CTE makes Invar 36 highly resistant to changes in temperature and provides excellent dimensional stability. Invar 36 also has a high magnetic permeability, which makes it useful in magnetic shielding applications.
