Infineon acquires the semiconductor company Innoluce to strengthen the autopilot sensor business
October 11 evening news, the German chip maker Infineon announced today that it has acquired Dutch semiconductor company Innoluce, but did not disclose the transaction amount.
Founded in 2010, Innoluce is a spin-off from Philips and is a leading innovator in miniature laser scanning modules. Infineon said the acquisition of Innoluce will help Infineon to develop an affordable sensor system for autopilot vehicles.
