Amy's Donuts deserves somewhat of a background story: Founded in December 2013, Amy's Donuts is the self-proclaimed home of "Denton's unique speciality donut shop." Everything from the dough to the icing is made by hand and uses quality ingredients.
We liked the Gourmet donut names. The Denton Donut shop is in a wonderful area, as well.
With regards to the donuts, there were such a large number of heavenly choices to browse! We restricted our picks to a Blueberry Old Fashion (Blueberry cake mix, housemade glaze), Apple Fritter, Elvis (Housemade peanut butter with toasted bacon, banana chips, drizzled with hot fudge), and Chocolate Donut (Raised donut, chocolate frosting).
Last Thoughts:
Extraordinary donuts, cordial staff, and unassuming energy at Amy's Donuts Denton shop. We remained for an hour and it was well known completely through close.
