The major pitching issue is the ball almost never ends up where it should despite hitting the hoop accurately.No he shouldn't, but thank you for confirming the Slugfest theory. That is not the way baseball works. If a pitcher sets the ball in a fantastic spot/location, and get everything on his pitch (speed/spin/etc), then the pitcher generally gets the greater result.What you are saying is fantastic pitch, great place, excellent execution.... But I was good also, give me my homer. Why? Well because.... That's the actual definition of RNG, as it does not matter what the pitcher does, just what the hitter input signals.
The pitcher generally has the better outcome on a pitch with good spot/location/etc since the batter isn't able to square on the pitch.I believe it should be more difficult to get batters in the game to square up, but I also think that the hitter should get the better outcome on a correctly gearing up swing.
