FIFA 23 Hero Pack mistake causes EA erase millions of FIFA 23 Coins coins off the virtual transfer market One FIFA 23 Hero Pack which was released incorrectly by EA has seen players suffer thousands of coins worth of currency in-game eliminated from FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

Packs, that were briefly available from 6 PM BST last night, gave players a tradeable FUT Hero item in FIFA 23 and some of them can be worth millions of coins for around 25,000 coins.

Although EA made amends around 25 minutes after the launch of the pack, it wasn't enough to stop millions of coins in value from being erased off FIFA Ultimate Team as players have sold the FUT Hero items in a frenzy, due to the massive surge of supplies.

FUT Hero cards are extremely scarce players that are only available within certain packs of Ultimate Team. FUT Hero cards are offered to players who have been a major contributor to the club or who have become a cult favourite like the former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung.

Due to the item's incredibly uncommon rarity, they're usually quite expensive in FIFA 23 Ultimate's market for virtual transfers, and some of them like Yaya Toure being sold at 1.9 million FUT coins that a prominent third-party marketplace for selling coins estimates at just below PS400.

However, EA accidentally released the pack, thus flooding the market with a large supply of FIFA 23 Coins for sale the items, which saw price drop dramatically with some customers losing around 1.25 million coins in value, which is around PS200 when bought by a third party.
