1. Prepare tools & accessories before install it.

LED frame light, light stand, power adapter, remote control, mounting screws, screwdriver, hook (wall-mounted version)
2. Two common installation methods

https://www.jcelighting.com/
Method A: Install on light stand :
Locate the metal mounting hole on the back of the LED frame light.
Align the stand’s top screw with the hole, twist the locking knob tightly to fix the light.
Adjust the stand height and tilt angle of the frame light, then lock all adjustable knobs.
Place the stand stably on flat ground to prevent tipping

Method B: Wall / ceiling installation (permanent decoration)
Mark drilling positions on the wall according to the hanging holes on the light frame.
Drill holes, insert expansion plastic tubes, drive in wall screws (leave 3–5mm gap for hanging).
Lift the LED frame light and hang its back slots onto the wall screws.
Shake gently to confirm it is fixed firmly without slipping.

3. Power connection steps
Take out the DC power cord and light controller.
Plug the small DC connector from the frame light into the output port of the controller.
Connect the power adapter to the controller’s input port.
Plug the adapter into a standard wall power socket.
4. Test & adjust the light
Turn on the power, use the remote to test functions: brightness up/down, warm/cold color switching, special light modes.
Fine-tune the light angle to avoid harsh shadows or overexposure on your subject.
If the light flickers or fails to turn on: check loose plugs and reinsert all DC connectors.
5. Safety installation notes
Do not pull the power cord hard to avoid loose internal wiring.
Keep the back of the frame light unobstructed for heat dissipation.
Unplug the power adapter if the light will not be used for a long time.
For wall installation, confirm the wall can bear the weight of the light.
Safety Precautions for Installing LED Frame Light
1. Electrical Safety (Most Critical)
Cut off power before wiring, plugging or disassembling the light frame. Never handle wires with wet hands.
Only use the original matching 12V low-voltage power adapter. Do not use mismatched high-wattage or uncertified adapters, which may cause overheating or short circuits.
Check all DC connectors for loose pins, cracked cords or exposed copper wires before use. Wrap bare wire joints with insulating tape or heat shrink tubes to prevent short circuits.
Do not overload one power strip with multiple high-power LED lights; avoid overheating sockets.
Keep power cords away from sharp edges, high-temperature surfaces and heavy objects to prevent wire damage.
Unplug the adapter if you stop using the light for hours or overnight.

2. Installation & Mounting Safety
Stand-mounted (Live/Photography Use)
Fully extend the stand’s bottom support legs and lock all knobs tightly. Place the stand on flat, non-slip ground to avoid tipping over, especially for large-size heavy frame lights.
Do not hang extra heavy objects on the light frame or stand, which may bend the bracket and cause the light to fall.
Adjust the tilt angle gently; do not force twist the mounting screw to break the light’s back shell.
Wall/Ceiling Mounted
Confirm the wall material: solid brick/concrete walls only. Do not install on hollow drywall without professional expansion bolts, as the light may fall off.
Use matched expansion screws and bear enough weight; double-check the light is locked onto wall hooks before letting go.
Leave at least 10cm clearance between the light and ceiling/wall for heat dissipation; do not seal the back tightly.
3. Heat & Fire Prevention
Never cover the back or front diffuser with cloth, paper, foam or other flammable materials during operation.
Do not stack multiple LED frame lights together when powered on; poor ventilation will trigger overheating.
If the frame surface becomes abnormally hot, immediately cut off power and inspect the LED strips and adapter.
4. Personal & Product Protection
Wear gloves when installing large metal frame lights to avoid scratches from sharp aluminum edges.
Do not squeeze, punch or bend the frosted acrylic diffuser; cracks will damage light uniformity and cause sharp fragments.
Keep the light away from water, bathrooms, outdoor rain or humid environments to avoid electric leakage. This product is mostly indoor-only.
Keep out of reach of young children; avoid them pulling power cords or knocking over light stands.
5. Emergency Rules
If you see smoke, burning smell or sparking, cut off the power supply immediately and stop using the light.
Do not repair the internal LED strips or circuit board by yourself if you lack electrical knowledge; send it to professional maintenance.
