As you are already aware that the valuation actually depends on many factors, I would also say how the need of buyer affects the consideration.

Here are the points affecting consideration:

1. How unique your trademark is. Well, few times the buyer finds it an opportunity that the trademark is unused because there will no perception in consumer’s mind. Here the only need of buyer is to buy the right on the unique name.

2. Another case maybe where the buyer is to deploy the name in trade, however found it already registered in your name. Based on the need or scope, you can negotiate the price.

Thus, you need to identify the need of the buyer first and then to think upon consideration based on other factors like financial position, costs and maintenance. Many times the fact that the trademark is unused can degrade the value. However, situational negotiation always comes to rescue. To define in monetary terms, I could say the price could range from 50,000 to 100,000 INR.

While considering the sale, do note that the Trademark Assignment is executed through agreement and later registered with TM registry. The cost of Stamp Duty, registration, attorney charges etc. must be taken care by parties. While dealing the mark, make sure you clear this term also.
