Alloy steel, aluminium alloys, brass, carbon steel, molybdenum, stainless steel, titanium, platinum, and tool steel are just a few of the sheet metal kinds that are appropriate for laser cutting with UV, CO2, and Fiber lasers. The concentrated heat energy of a focused laser beam has a favourable effect on pure titanium. While increasing cutting speeds, the use of an oxygen aid also tends to encourage the growth of a thicker oxide layer along the cut edge.
