The Properties, Fabrication, and Applications of Grade 316 Stainless Steel

The SS 316 Pipe and SS 316L Pipe are different names for stainless steel types: 1.4401 and 1.4404. The austenitic grade 316 is second in terms of commercial significance only to 304.
