The result is a firm with an acceptable and clean image

Microsoft should know exactly what it's acquiring with this purchase. One reason WoTLK Gold Microsoft has been able to purchase one of the biggest gaming publishers with a fairly small price was because the harassment scandal has led to a drop in its share price. As noted by lawyer Richard Hoeg, who also discussed some of the complexities of antitrust regarding the share price, it is believed that the two cultural issues are probably linked.

"What I find the most fascinating about the $95 share price is how closely it is in line with market value of Activision last year before its present troubles," Hoeg said. "One could even argue that it's not comparable on the value of Activision's underlying assets, as well as that Microsoft is, in actual, 'buying low' based on the notion that the price is low for cultural reasons that can be "sanitized" by the acquisition (and similar control of the entities by Microsoft its own company)."

The result is a firm with an acceptable and clean image, buying a company with nothing but an expense that's been depressed by recent scandal, with the implicit expectation of the market is that the parent will aid in the resolving of issues. Microsoft's financial interest to take care of its finances and repair the image of Activision's defunct company as well as the fact that it's the right ethical choice.

Now is the time to establish expectations for Microsoft's management of the business, and plan to ensure Redmond does its part once the acquisition is complete. Microsoft is required to create specific guidelines that have consistent penalties for any misconduct, and a higher degree of transparency. This will allow for more diverse voices inside Activision Blizzard's various studios. Though Activision has been able to root out negative elements following the fact (and following an California state-wide lawsuit) buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold and a change in the leadership could signal that this kind of behavior won't be tolerated in the first place.
