Inter-state buses also make stops around Gaurikund. Pilgrims could locate regular buses to Gaurikund as early as the morning. It is necessary to first reach Rishikesh or Haridwar before you can get on a bus or taxi to Kedarnath.
  • Kedarnath does have a railway station, but it is only accessible by train. Rishikesh lies approximately 210km away from Gaurikund and is the nearest train station.
