Who is Yoga Anjaneyar?

Yoga Anjaneya is a form of Lord Hanuman, the monkey god who was devoted to Lord Rama and helped him recover Sita from the clutches of the demon king Ravana. The story is told in the Ramayana epic.

Hanuman, some myths claim, is actually an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He was born to Anjana, an apsara maiden who had been cursed to become a monkey by a sage. The name, Anjaneya, comes from his mother’s name.
