Venous Leakage (Venogenic Erectile Dysfunction): Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment
Venous leakage, medically known as venogenic erectile dysfunction, is an under‑recognized but important cause of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men of all ages. It occurs when the veins of the penis are unable to properly retain blood during sexual arousal, resulting in erections that are weak, short‑lived, or impossible to maintain. Although erections may initially occur, they fade quickly because blood escapes from the penile tissues too rapidly.
