If only there were 26 hours in the day, we might be able to get that workout in, finish that assignment, and even eat healthier. You might be hard pressed for time but consistently making little changes everyday tends to have positive long-term effects. One of those changes everyone should implement is eating healthier when going out. Restaurants all across the country are updating their menu to reflect the demand for vegetables instead of fries, grilled chicken instead of fried, oatmeal instead of a muffin. So what changes can you make everyday while eating out?
When you wake up in the morning be prepared to take on breakfast. You're just waking up and you're probably still in a fog, but don't let that block your vision of what you should be eating. If you you're at a restaurant, see if they can substitute the bacon and sausage for a more nutritious choices such as yogurt, pickles, or a small salad.
Start drinking water and juices when going out and start saying NO to soda. Soda has lots of sugars and empty carbohydrates that provide no nutritional value to you. Not only is soda bad for your waistline but by eliminating one can a day, you're saying to your self that you don't want to add an extra 50,000 calories over the course of a year.

Another change you should start making is eliminating mayonnaise from your diet. Every calorie that comes from mayonnaise is a calorie that is rich in fat. You can easily substitute it for ketchup or mustard.
