How do I issue a share certificate for a newly incorporated OPC?

The procedure to issue a share certificate is similar to the Private Limited Company. The share certificate must be in accordance with the form SH-1. Following details must be included in it.

  • Name of company
  • CIN of company
  • Registered office address
  • Nominal and paid up value of share
  • Name of shareholder
  • Number of shares
  • Certificate no., registered folio no., distinctive no.
  • Details of witness

Such share certificate must be issued within 2 months from the incorporation of company. Further it must be signed by any 1 director or company secretary if any or any authorized representative. If the company has common seal then it must be affixed on the share certificate.
