Submitted by LegalWizin on Fri, 04/02/2021 - 00:39

No, the proprietorship firm will not have a separate PAN. Many people are confused that as it is firm so it will get a new PAN. But it is a mis-conception. A proprietorship firm does not have a separate legal existence so it does not have a separate PAN. The PAN of proprietor will become the PAN of its proprietorship firm. Hence, one can use personal PAN for the proprietorship firm.
