This guide is all about autoexec.cfg and overall better performance in CS:GO with older PCs (based on nVidia GPUs and after 310+ GPU drivers).
Also, this guide can help,cs go jackpot sites 2017 for generally older PCs and Radeon users, but they must use RadeonPro app, instead nVidia inspector.
For this guide and example, I am using this PC configuration..
CPU: Intel Xeon E5450 (Quad Core) @ 3.0 GHz
GPU: nVidia 9500 GT / 512 MB GDDR2
RAM: 8 GB DDR2 / 667 MHz
Introduction
So, as I said.
This guide is specifically for low end PCs, why? Because high end PCs with extra lower settings will not force GPU and CPU to 100% potential and max FPS - tested on better PC.
It will lay on 50% usage or 70-ish, not 99% of all time, even with low end PC, it's nearly 99% all time. You can try it for yourself, it depends of your specifiactions of course, so free yourself to test it while you can on high end PCs.
Also, sorry for my English, because I am Serbian :D.
Contents and stuff
Just read slowly and carefully, sorry for not adding pictures because this is my first guide for Steam :D.
* For better performance and overall little bit horse power from your PC you will need to download Razer Cortex - it actually give you about 5-ish FPS overall for better performance and also kills other processes to free RAM memory also, don't forget to put your PC in "High Performance" mode in Control panel (or if you got laptop, click on batter icon and switch it to High performance).
Also, you can clean your registry and temp files by clicking on "Start" button, type "run" and then "%temp%" and delete everything that you see, after that type "prefetch" and delete all stuff too!
When you download it just register Razer account and link you Steam account, because program will read you Steam library for optimizing games, and you can find usefull tweaks in it.
When you download it, go to "My Computer" or "This PC" depends of your Operating System - O.S.
Go to your partition where you have installed game and also Steam.
Steam/SteamApps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/cfg
And then in folder named "cfg" paste the autoexec.cfg file which I created.
When you do that, we need to enter some pre-launch commands.
For entering commands, we need to go to Steam client and "Games" tab and then found your CS:GO game, right click on Icon and go to Properites tab. After that go to the "General" window and look for "Set launch options" tab.
Once you found it just paste this commands (it's tested, because older commands don't work anymore because of CS:GO updates since 2012.)
-high +cl_forcepreload 1 -novid -nod3d9x -nojoy -console -lv +exec autoexec.cfg +mat_queue_mode 2 -threads 4
-high - means High priority mode for CPU usage
+cl_forcepreload 1 - means faster preload maps, sounds and texture files for your game
-novid - means that you will not see startup screen in-game anymore (faster startup game)
-nod3d9x - not forcing D3D9 texture loading anytime
-nojoy - turns off compatibility for joypads (tested and in some weird way improves FPS by 1-2)
-console - turns console on
-lv - low violence mode - not working after new updates but you can still put it for slightly reducing lag in game..
+exec autoexec.cfg - STARTUP .CFG FILE THAT I PUT FOR YOU
-threads 4 - *this is important one* I got Quad Core CPU, so i put 4 threads, if you got Dual Core CPU, you need to put it on 2 or, Hexa - 6, Octa - 8.
I've tested it for 2 and it's more laggy and slugish...
Scroll down page to download program
After downloading the program start nvidiaProfileInspector.exe file and on search tab search for CS:GO profile and then apply it to your CS:GO game!
You can tweak some settings but after 310 or 320.http://www.csgoroulette.com.br/ drivers for nVidia and with newer versions of Inspector, you cannot tweak LOD - Level of Detail for game which is sad...
Just click on profile and apply it.
Next thing that you can done too is go to your Control Panel and "System" tab, go to "Advanced system settings" on left side and click it, go to "Advanced" window and "Performance" tab and disable all stuff for faster experience and smooter O.S. scrolling and workaround.
Last, but not least quick stuff is too clean registry files with CCleaner program
And after that you can defragment HDD - Warning, if you have SSD DON'T defragment it, defragmentation is only for ATA, PATA, SATA HDDs!
When you do all this things, startup CS:GO and console will popup with "LowSpec" logo and PING measurment.
Warning: This is regular CFG and guide, and you WILL NOT be VAC banned or something like that!
Closing notes
And that's pretty much it, that's the important stuff that you need to do for some FPS gain.
This will be the best to do on low end PC, because High end PC's will not gain 99% of usage for game, because it's too easy to load and run game on R9 290X for example or other cards..
On Radeon PCs you can download ClockBlocker and limit usage of GPU to 100% :).
But on nVidia you can't and you can only tweak it with settings like this..
Like I said, many commands wil maybe be updated and removed, but in this state, I put stuff in autoexec.cfg that works for low end PCs.
All this stuff is tested on many PCs, and I worked on this for many days, just to prove that it works for all PCs (for some not that much great about 5 fps gain, for other much better, like 25-40 fps+)
Again, thanks for reading guide and I hope that this will help you to achieve better performance in game and gameplay generally, I personally gained about 30 fps of avg. in every map and newer one (Canals).
And yeap, this is my first guide, csgo jackpot site rank just to see how it works to make a Steam guide without any single help and suggestion from anybody :D.
Keep it up and play video games :)!
Cheers!
