Let’s be honest – there are games, books, furniture, maybe even clothes you haven’t touched in 2013. Why not collect them all and start selling on Craigslist? You can even take your items to a friend or relative's garage sale and have them sell them for you.
Also browse your collections and memorabilia. Sometimes they can sell for more than you think if you're willing to part with them.

2. Provide your services.
Are you a gamer because you know the ins and outs of computers? Guaranteed to have someone in your life who needs your expertise in the field, you can even charge $25 an hour for your work.
Ask friends, family, church or organization members, teachers, etc., or consider posting some flyers around town with your contact information and technical help you can provide.
Not a computer genius? Offer another service that you can easily do or are good at but others might not want to do, such as cooking, cleaning, or even removing Christmas decorations.
Tip: People like to pay for services that provide extra value, so consider offering free "computer consultation" or something similar and people will be more likely to hire you.
3. Work overtime for a few hours.
If you already have a full-time or part-time job, volunteer a few extra hours (or put in more if you allow) to help achieve your computer and keyboard goals.
This is an especially good idea if you work in retail or even food service. It's the best time of year to work a few extra hours when coworkers don't want to return to work after the holidays or deal with crazy, sales-obsessed clients.
