A good example of this is my own knowledge of RuneScape. I know exactly where the choppable trees, lobster fishing area, Stiles (the fish banknote exchanger), and also Brimhaven gate are at Musa Point. That understanding is burned deeply into my mind. Nobody taught me that. However, if I had to smith a masterwork platebody, by way of instance, I'd have to search for every single necessary component and step on the wiki because I am just clueless. Trying to act without any of their knowledge of RuneScape we build upon from our childhood experiences (normally ) needs to be nauseating for someone thrown into RuneScape with no idea of the mechanisms or locational consciousness.

OSRS player. I began a RS3 Ironman and I already got the hang out of it. But boywere the initial weeks! I get it, even if a match is as outdated as RuneScape is, one could anticipate that it is packed with articles. Problem is, it feels just like RuneScape wants you to learn/do EVERYTHING right at the start of your account. Having played because 2006, I am quite knowledgeable about the general gameplay and setting of RuneScape. Stillit took me so long to even remotely comprehend the huge mess the?interface" in RuneScape is. I had been thinking?how on Earth does one complete newcomer handle all of this? ".

After bit over a week, I have finished all quests, improved more, and overall soon...relearning everything. While still in the"new player experience" stage a lot has changed, I turned off the action tracker and just began doing my own thing and learned so much better than doing what RuneScape suggests I do. Twitch chat, and This has helped. But 99.9% of fresh players/long hiatus returning gamers aren't going to have all that. I believe way facets are introduced have to be reworked. They do not need to change burthorpe...again. But maybe something as straightforward as introducing them over and disabling some features time. Say you do like demon slayer using"legacy" battle, then get abilities after.

So it will not throw you in using 20 abilities and also an introduction to boss mechanisms all at one time. Sure you might claim revolution is on by default, but that does not teach them the abilities or how it works together. If I needed to get the tools for that, that would be great. Just like the lodestone network. However, the graduality of items being unlocked needs to be adjusted. I really don't now have a response, maybe after I depart the new player experience I'll.

Thanks for replying! Additionally, love the movies you have so far, it's always enjoyable for me to see osrs players giving rs3 a fair try. Your points are pretty strong, idk if I'd start players on legacy per se, but I feel heritage as a whole has to be removed, it merely adds another layer of confusion to RuneScape, and was just introduced to ease the pain of skills, before revolution turned into a thing. It doesnt serve much purpose but that's just me. I'm eagar to understand the way your view and understanding shifts as RuneScape advances, but youre definitely right on one point. RuneScape's intro needs work.
